We all desire the Desire

Is there any droid-aholic out there that is not drooling? We are almost 'universally' in agreement that the Desire is one of the sexiest phones to come from HTC with our favourite mobile OS installed and is possibly the nicest Android phone so far.
Although I would really love the aluminium (correctly pronounced please) unibody shell of the Legend (I like to drop stuff) with the specifications of the Desire, we can't have everything.

Rather obviously, I am not the only one who wants this phone. It seems that ALL the major UK providers have realised that this truly is an iPhone killer. Personally, I do not really like SenseUI, but nowadays people want a phone that looks fancy and do not give a second thought as to whether or not it slows things down.

Anyway, back on subject....

3 has now become the final major carrier to announce that they will carry the Desire. O2, Vodaphone, Orange, T-Mobile and 3... Correct me if I am wrong, but is this not the first time every UK network will supply the same superphone? I know 3 of them already carry the iPhone and a different combination of 3 carry the Hero, but I have never known them to all carry the same high-end device simultaneously.

I know, I have gone around in circles a few times in this post... But what I am really trying to say is that this could be the phone to bring Android to the masses. Sleek, fast, sexy, well built, versatile and stable - a far cry from the G1.

Oi I've used Sense UI on my Hero since I got it, I've also used stock and there is no difference.

Plus it's got the Snapdragon in it so I don't think we need to worry about slowness lol
