An update from our friends at Androidandme, the Firefox mobile browser "Fennec" is expect to be available to us mortals in the last quarter of 2010.I wonder if google will look to improve their browser, to compete with Fennec. I'm sure some one will leak the specs and features, and Google will look to match and even beat its Firefox counterpart.
Hopefully this will bring out some good old fashioned competition within the mobile browser market and lead to some amazing, new and innovative browsers for us to play with.
In this mockup of Fennec running on an HTC Touch pro running Fennec taken from Geek.com has us drooling, the "drag this way" bar interface looks like a much easier interface.
We personally cannot wait to try this baby out.
We will continue to watch the development of Fennec and hopefully bring you an actual date.
